Competencies

What you can prove, and at what level.

A competency is a skill area that cuts across courses. Each is earned at three tiers — I Foundational, II Proficient, III Advanced — from the mastery you actually hold on this device, not seat time. Every tier issues a verified, signed certificate. If a path is what you do, a competency is what you can prove.

The ladder

Seven competencies, three tiers each.

Tiers are read live from your mastery: I means you are familiar across the area, II adds retained proficiency, III is proficiency across nearly all of it. Mastery comes from passing labs and surviving their spaced reviews, so a tier cannot be grind-inflated.
