The qutrit — three-level quantum information

A qubit lives on two levels; a qutrit lives on three — the quantum face of the trit. This is a state-vector emulator running in your browser: classical hardware, so there is no quantum speedup — the point is that three-level quantum information maps naturally onto ternary, and the same ternary substrate that runs an edge policy is a natural engine for simulating qutrit circuits.

State dim (3ⁿ)

State vector — bar = amplitude |cₖ|, hue = phase; basis labels are balanced ternary {−,0,+}
Measurement — P(outcome) = |cₖ|²

A browser is classical hardware — this is emulation, not a quantum computer. State grows as 3ⁿ (faster than 2ⁿ): ~20 qutrits ≈ 56 GB, the honest ceiling.
